He composed original music for the plays Follow Me Down (Aporia Theater), Anna’s Perfect Party, (Looking Glass Theatre), Almost, Maine (The Barrow Group Arts Complex), and a production of William Inge's A Loss Of Roses at Earlham College in Indiana. His musical revue Party Like Me was produced by the New York Theatre Barn in 2010 as part of their NYTB in the D-Lounge series, and he wrote the title opening number for Why Can't I? for the Emerson College installment of New York Theatre Barn's college series at the Duplex. His revue Cold Turkey: The Songs of Gregory Jacobs-Roseman made its debut in June 2008 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York. His songs have been performed at the Goodspeed Opera House, at Barrington Stage as part of William Finn’s revue: Ridiculously Talented Composers and Lyricists You Probably Don't Know But Should, at Graham-A-Rama in Sacramento, CA, and across venues in Boston and New York City. Gregory Jacobs-Roseman (Book, Music, Lyrics) is a musical theatre composer/lyricist and theatrical sound designer living in New York City. James is a proud member of Actor’s Equity.
